still decent The graphics in this game are sub par. It runs much smoother on the PC than on the PS3; it's choppy and glitchy. I have had 3 occassions where the game has frozen the console.Other than those shortcomings however, the game does deliver a well-made action RPG. The most praise that can be given to this game is the depth to which the lore has been presented for the Dragon Age world. There dialogue between characters are also superbly done (since this is an american made RPG, not a japanese RPG). The game play offers opportunities to go on sidequests on occassion, but are not necessary. After a few hours of playing, the rarely choppy graphics become something that you don't mind anymore because the story will immerse you.Character creation is also pretty deep. Leveling your character gives you opportunities to increase your stats the way you want so you can play the way you like.Other than that though, I'd say that the developers but all their efforts into developing a great story with a lot of lore for future games in the Dragon Age universe to build from. They didn't WASTE their time on pretty graphics; they used it on something worthwhile as far as creating a GAME. However, seeing that it's a PS3 title, I honestly was expecting a pretty game... hence 3 stars for expectations 11/12/2009
One of the best....... This is by far and away one of the best action RPGs I've ever played. Bioware did a wonderful job of giving you loads of options to start your character off. After that, the possibilities seem endless with the do's/don'ts and moral decisions you make throughout the game. At some points, I had to stop and think about what I should do/don't. I even consulted my wife a few times. All in all, this game has LOADS of replay value, and I highly recommend it to anyone who loves RPGs. 01/25/2010

What a dissapointment I was looking forward to playing this game for awhile. I waited for the price to fall before purchasing it, (thankfully). While the storyline is great the graphics are terrible and fighting tedious. It is hard to keep track of hit points and has a very linear gameplay. You spend alot of time in overly complicated menus wasting time. I felt like the game is 10 years old when playing. I am glad I didn't pay full price and will gladly go trade it in for something else. 08/31/2010
