Good purchase A year ago I tore my achilles tendon. Havent' been able to put on a pair of work shoes because the top back of the shoe cuts right into it. So I searched on line and saw this shoe has the lowered notch so I figured for such a low price and it comes in wide I would give it a shot. I wear these every day to work and they are comfortable and I have not had any issues with my achilles heal. I wouldn't say they are the most comfortable shoes - those I spent over $100 previously and they didn't last. I am very happy with this purchase. 03/28/2012
