    Rated 4.4 out of 5★ by 42reviewers.
Rated 4 out of 5★ by Good bottle for all children. I originally purchased Dr. Brown's bottle because I have twins (boy and girl) and my son has a cleft lip and palate. Many parents of cleft babies utilize Dr. Brown's bottles with a special valve from Pigeon Co Imported from Japan that just happens to have to same dimensions in the nipple opening. These bottles worked wonders for my son and allow him to feed, and the plus is the venting reduces gas significantly. While I purchased these for my son with special needs, my daughter was having terrible gas all of the time and wouldn't eat as she should. We were using cheaper bottles with her. When we used her brother's Dr. Brown bottles (without the extra valve) her fussiness stopped and she no longer was gassy and completed all her feedings. My only complaint with the 8 oz bottle (not the 4 oz) is that they will not fit into some other brands' warmers or sterilizer because they are too tall (i.e. Advent and others). 06/14/2010
Rated 2 out of 5★ by Works, but major issues So, 2 years ago I got some and hated them for the million parts... This time, with my third baby, I thought I would love them, they do help with gassiness and such, but the parts just drive me crazy, they are top heavy, tip over easy and cannot see the measuring on it. I think they are made of a cheaper plastic as well compare to 2 years ago, when you could still read the measurements. Too bad. 11/06/2009
Rated 4 out of 5★ by Best Bottles Ever I swear I have tried every bottle out there, and none seemed to work for my daughter until I finally caved and bought these. Yes, they are fairly expensive. Yes, there are extra parts that are a pain to clean. And yes, all the convenience of bottle-feeding is lost when you purchase these. BUT, they are excellent for those with sensitive tummies and if your baby is colicky, then any of these cons are totally worth the ultimate pro: a happy baby. 12/16/2010
Rated 5 out of 5★ by worth getting My baby had horrible screaming gas problems not only from the formula he was on but the bottles he drank from. I changed his milk and bought these bottles. That same night my baby boy was 100% better. Even though these bottles cost more money it's worth every penny. I tried going back to normal bottles when he needed more bottle trying to be cheap and the night screams started again. I quickly ordered another set of these bottles the next day. 01/18/2014
Rated 5 out of 5★ by Great bottle! My Grandson had terrible colic, stomach pain and spit up often. His Dr had his parent's change to a gentler formula which helped some, but he still had some issues. I was skeptical about buying a bottle this expensive to find that it didn't work but I hated seeing my Grandson having so much trouble so I decided to give it a try. I was amazed! There weren't any air bubbles, he didn't have to release the nipple ever to get flow back and he is SO much better in terms of colic, spitting up and gas! I've heard mention of a problem with leakage. I got this once myself trying to put 5 oz in the 4 oz bottle as it had plenty of room. I then noticed the bottle says not to fill it beyond the top line for this reason. That extra space is needed for the bottle to function correctly and not leak. Try going up to the 8 oz bottle if the 4 oz isn't enough. That ends the leakage problem. Bottom line, yes...these DEFINITELY help! Well worth the extra money. 12/31/2013
Rated 3 out of 5 the bottle has smell I bought this bottle online to replace my old evenflo. To use the bottle itself is good just like other brands. But it's not really worth to compare with he price. Though I'm not sure if i did anything wrong but it should not create the smell anyhow. I boil the bottle together with evenflo bottle once I have them. The Dr. Brown's has some kind of plastic smell which i thought it would be gone after few wash. I have been trying it for a week and the smell is still in there. my baby reject the bottle because of the smell. The bottle color itself is not as clear as evenflo. In short, i think i will go back to my angle evenflo bottle. 08/18/2014
Rated 5 out of 5★ by Dr has the answer Before switching to Dr. Browns bottles I tried a few different bottles. I tried breastflow by the first years...when I began breastfeeding...I liked it. I tried Avent by Philips...and I HATED those bottles. My three month old consumes 4oz of milk per feeding and she was spitting up atleast an ounce after each feeding. When I first attempted to switch her to Dr. Browns she refused it because the nipple was much slower than the Avent nipples. She had to do more suckling to get her milk. So I switched to an older stage of nipples and now she is taking the bottles. Her spit up is now normal-less than 1/4oz per feeding, she is also less gassy and in turn less fussy. We have both fell in love with these bottles....I just hate all the detachable pieces. Hard to be kept up with at daycare. 02/20/2011
Rated 3 out of 5★ by Leaky These bottles are designed to help with colic and I think they probably do. However, they leak. Everytime milk gets into the straw, it leaks out the side of the bottle. The only way to stop the leak is to open the bottle and let the rest of the milk out of the seals. They were so expensive that I feel obligated to continue using them. 05/06/2011
