There is black in it, along with blues, greens brown and tans. Very nice coloring. Matches everything!!

The dark color is brown/chocolate. There is also a mossy green, light lavender, biege, and light blue.

I think it is black. My boyfriend says it's dark navy blue. I think it could match either.

The dark color is a very dark navy blue, but it is NOT black,   but pretty close as sometimes hard to tell dark navy from black.   I shone a very bright light  on it and it is Navy Blue.    I wish this part of the rug had been a lighter blue as there are 2 large areas with this color.   The darker the color the harder to keep clean looking as every little thing will show on it.   Still its a very nice rug  and the colors blend well together.  Hope this helps.

It is NOT rubber backing. I think it is what you would consider "jute" backing.

it would really depend on how much clearance you have from the door to the floor. i dont think this would work under my front door in my living rm, with the shag i would be afraid of catching it and pulling out some of the pile of rug,, i do love this rug, to vacumn you have to turn the beater bar of the cleaner off. but it holds up great so far,

No a door wil not easily go over it. It's a thicker shag typr rug.

About a centimeter thick. The door would have to have a pretty big gap under it.

It's shag, so it's not overly thick, but comfortable enough for my 6 yr old to lay down and roll in it "cause it feels good". I have in the the middle of my lr floor. I believe a door would easily go over the rug.

pile height is about 1 1/2 inch. Might be tight for door to open over.

Since this is a shag rug, it would not do well under a door because of its 1" thickness, unless you have a higher hanging door.

I am not sure since I didn't put it there.

It's a nice, thick shag pile - maybe an inch to an inch and a half thick. Depends on how high the door is off of the floor.

It is quite thick. I am using it over carpeting, so the door will not swing over it. A door may swing over it if it were used on hardwood or tile flooring.

The shag is thick., dense. But my door which is an interior door and hung to standard specifications opens without sticking.
