Practicality Meets Functionality I was hesitant to purchase this product after reading the reviews, but went with my gut feeling and ordered it anyway. From the beginning I was a skeptic, but after finally putting the cover on my duvet & taking a look I was completely satisfied. The black isn't "rich" but in the lighting I have in my bedroom it looks great (: The fabric isn't "soft" at all.. but i'm sure after a few more washes it'll be just right. My advice... if you're picky.. don't buy it. If you're looking for a practical approach to decorating your home in a functional manner I would definitely recommend this for you. Just make sure you have fabric softener and a darker room if you plan on using the black side. The white side is gorgeous, but with a black cat it just HAD to be flipped to the 'dark side'. 09/03/2010
Love it! I'm very happy with this purchase. The material is softer than I expected for 250 count. I'm in Afghanistan now and really just wanted something more comfortable than what they have here (which isn't much). I'm used to sleeping on 400-600 thread count sheets, so I was a little hesitant. But, this was definitely worth the money. Very comfy and just warm enough without being too heavy. Thanks for shipping to APO addresses Walmart!! 08/21/2010
good value Overall we like this duvet, my only problems with it is that it is not super soft, but gets better after each wash. Also the black side is a little faded looking, kind of very dark gray. 08/21/2010
