As good as the pros The DISNEY WOW disc should not be taken a a lightweight calibration tool because of who has created it. Disney folks have developed a professional sound and video calibration Bluray disc. While it is certainly going to be useful for novices attempting their first TV setup and calibration, it also will completely satisfy the more technically oriented.The audio test tracks are probably the weakest part of the disc, and will absolutely require a sound meter (the Shack has one) to get an accurate sound level out of a surround system. For a quick setup and/or problem solving, WOW is quite helpful.The video test tracks are far ahead of so-called professional discs that are out there. WOW has an entry level set of instructions and screen shots that will quickly get your TV looking like it was designed, and not cartoon-ish or washed out. The advanced screens and test patterns will allow the most finicky tech specialist to achieve the "perfect" image, right on the desired target specifications. The instructions are complete and understandable. There is an included blue filter for color/hue setup, and some wonderful alternative strategies for those who can't ever get the filter to work for them as intended.Worth the price. 01/13/2011
Disney WOW Calibration Disk I think this disc is worth the purchase. I can definitely tell an improvement in the picture quality of my LED LCD after using this disc. It will take a good 2-3 hours to complete a full run of all the different tests and tweaking, so take your time and be patient and follow all the instructions. It comes with the 53 page instruction booklet inside. It also will show any problem areas with your panel, if any should exist. 08/23/2011
Great Disc I stepped through each section, spent about 6 hours calibrating a 70" LED TV, found 2 Red LEDs not working. This disc has a pixel flip which can try to bring back LEDs that are not responding, also great for burn in's from plasma.My issue was during the audio calibration to my 7.1 Onkyo, I noticed that the Left front speaker & the Left surround side speaker were reversed polority. I check this out and found nothing reversed. This could be either the disc has a small error on the audio portion or my receiver "Internally" is not in sink...Still a great purchase... 12/08/2011
didnt work didnt work at all, i try it on 3 tvs, and the picture was really poor, low color and too bright. it may work for others but not for me . 08/02/2011
