If the tent doesn't scare them, this bed is great. The bed was very easy to put together and the tent (which is included) can be easily assembled, attached to the bed and removed. A standard toddler/crib mattress fits VERY snugly in this bed frame. It sits low enough that my 21-month-old was easily able to climb into and out of this bed without assistance from the moment it was assembled.My son has yet to sleep in this bed WITH the tent attached since it scared him, but we have propped the tent up in a different part of the room as a play tunnel and he loves it there. We hope to eventually add it back on the bed when he is no longer afraid of having a tent over his bed. 10/17/2011

Already broken I ordered this for my 3 year-old son who is a horrible sleeper. He actually saw it online while I was bed shopping and picked it out. I had it shipped to the house and it came almost immediately.The bed was easy to assemble and seems sturdy. The tent, however, is very cheap. The plastic tubing that supports it broke within two weeks. My son doesn't jump on his bed (it's actually almost impossible to jump on the bed with the tent on) so I'm not sure how it broke. We took the tent off and he's sleeping find in just the bed.I think next time, I'm going to choose the bed I want because the "Cars" theme and tent made no difference in his sleep patterns.**I am planning on contacting the maker of the bed/tent to see if they will send a replacement part, but have not done so yet. 10/03/2011
From crib to Cars tent bed! My son was not a good sleeper as we had to move him from his crib at age 2 because of a new brother. This bed has helped him feel secure while he sleeps. He loves that the tent has a door he can choose to have open or close! 09/26/2011
