I absolutely LOVE this bed. It is Super Cute! My daughter is 27 months and we unexpectedly had to buy her a new bed. Her baby bed was completely recalled (not able to be fixed) so we had to switch her from a baby bed to a toddler bed instantly. We prepared for the worst, but SHE LOVED HER BED! She was so proud of her "fairy" bed that she would go sit in it during the day for no reason! When it is bedtime, we say, "let's go sleep in your fairy bed!". She gets VERY excited, claps her hands, and RUNS to her bed. For parents of a 2 year old and a 1 year old, a child happy to run to her bed at night is HAPPY parents! The bed is cuter in person than it appears in the picture. It is VERY sturdy! The safety rails are longer than they appear in the picture and in the 3 weeks that we have had the bed, my daughter hasn't ever fell out of the bed and she does move around all night. I have NO complaints with this bed at ALL! I'll be purchasing another very soon for my 1 year old!

Do not reccomend this bed for anyone with active toddlers. It was pretty easy to assemble and looked nice, but less than an hour after it was put up, the canopy was completely down. The jointing that they give you to connect the canopy poles is cheap and bends easily. After it was put back together, it looked bad beacuse the jointing didn't sit right. I returned it the next day.

This bed is a bit difficult to set up. You really have to follow the directions "no short cuts" cause you will have to start over. My husband and I like to put things together partially looking at directions and then looking at the picture but you just can't do that with this bed. It's perfect for my 2 year old and she loves it. It looks better in person than it does ion the picture and the price is unbeatable.

    • A. Walmart sells just the bed without the canopy. And yes you can just put the bed together without the canopy. You add the canopy once the bed is completly put together anyways. It just looks like a regular toddler bed the canopy part attaches at the end.

    • A. The answer is yes and yes. I saw them sold without the canopy, it is only like 5 bucks less. The canopy is very cute and my daughter loves it. And to put it together without the canopy won't make it look unfinished at all.

    • A. this bed does come with the canopy.. and it can be a bed without the canopy and it looks fine. looks like a whole different bed which your child would like, feels more ggrown up, when their ready for that stage. the canopy is very easy to attach and deattach. the bed will look shorter and nice without the canopy.

    • A. Yes, it is available without canopy for almost half the price. And yes, the canopy can come off without making the bed look undone. I actually took off mine coz my baby was playing with it and she kindda bend one of the legs. Im saving it for when she's big enough to appreciate it.

    • A. Since the bed is rather low to the ground and has some rails at the head of the bed, I would think so. Can't fall far if the child should fall out.

    • A. I think it would be. It's very low to the ground so she could get in and out ok, and there are rails that go about halfway down the bed and it's solid so not to worry about the child getting caught in the rails.

    • A. I don't know the exact dimensions of the box because i threw it away. I thought it would be a wide flat box that takes up the entire backseat of my nissan maxima. BUT it's not wide at all i put it in my backseat along along with my daughter in her convertible carseat.

    • A. Just guessing, we just bought one and it only weighs like 10 pounds and the box is not very big. I would say about 24" x 22" or so, approximately. I could carry it out of the store and will fit in any car.
