    ipod move over For younger kids this product is an excellent alternative to the ipod. Its flexible (you can add more storage), easy to use and Disney and kids are just perfect together. The cost is almost half of the ipod with video capabilities. My daughters' friend who has an ipod was more impressed with this than her own ipod. Ipod has the branding but I think this proudct is more worthwhile. 07/11/2007
    Fabulous! I did tons of research before buying this for my 8 year old. It was well worth the money - and is so much better than buying the Ipod for a kid who could easily loose or break it! Durable, and most of all - my daughter LOVES it! 10/21/2007

    Great Value I purchased one of these about a year ago for my 2 girls (5 and 6). It is small enough to carry in my purse and I whip it out when we're waiting at restaurants or in the doctor's office for my kids to watch movies or tv shows. It is capable of using SD cards (up to 2GB) and uses the WMV format for videos. I used the program (PocketDVD) to rip DVDs into smaller WMV files and so I have a ton of shows/movies for my kids to watch, and I've never had to buy any Disney MixMax movies! Since I only paid $50 for the thing, I don't expect it to have iPod qualities/features nor will I be terribly upset if my 5 year old drops the thing. The only drawback is that some people have reported getting MixMax's with flaws (me included), but if you buy it from somewhere you can get it exchanged, it is worth the time and $ saved to get one that (eventually) works. 03/13/2008
