I love that this games gets the kids up and moving, it kept them very entertained. Kids loved being able to look through the spy glass for the clues, very fun. I thought that it was hard to see the picture through the spyglass but kids didn't seem to have a problem with it and for that reason it got 5 stars. Wish they could make the image a little easier to see. The pieces are great, a lot of thought put into it. I love that it has a bag to keep the pieces in.

I received the Disney Jake and the Never Land Pirates Shipwreck Beach Treasure Hunt Role Play Game from Wonder Forge. Opinions are my own (as well as my 7 year old son).
This is a fun & active game...great for those days when the kids are stuck indoors. Players hide the FIVE treasures around the house together so that everyone knows where they are. The game board is actually on the bag where you store the game pieces after play. This game is like a memory match game but with a couple of twists. The some Doubloons are secret and require the player to view with a spyglass. We did not have trouble figuring out the picture but you can use red 3D glasses from other games or videos that you may have. When you make a match, grab the sword, turn over the sand timer and GO! Use the sword to pick up the treasure and make it back to the map before the sand runs out. The player with the most Doubloons (matches) wins.

ARGH! You ready to go on a Treasure Hunt?

My son loves playing this game and I love that it gets him up and moving around the room finding treasure. Worth every penny!

Get Up and Play

Fun for 3 year old.

This game is a keeper! Our group was in heaven! Easy to play, easy to keep th ekids engaged and well made! Even when our 9 month old grand daughter tugged and drooled on the sword it held up. And honestly ANYTHING that will keep a 3 year olds attention much less 2 of them is a miricle product! I highly recommend Wonder Forge as a whole and the Doc All Better Game was no exception! This game also easily engaged our slightly older group of 5-8 year olds :-) AWESOME JOB WONDER FORGE!

Easy to play and enjoyed by all!

This is an easy to play game that can be played at many levels. My 3 year old grandson looks for this game as soon as he arrives. He was explaining it to my husband last time he was here. He doesn't follow all the game rules yet but that isn't a problem. The game activates his imagination and sometimes he hides the clues himself. He loves the pirate sword, the spy glass and the coins. The game comes with a clever bag that holds all the pieces. Great for kids and great for adults.

Clever, fun, grandson wants to play over and over

My 4.5 year old son loves playing this game. Its a matching game, but with a treasure hunt included, so its extra fun. Its so fun to get him moving around and getting excited. Fun for the whole family - both boys and girls!

Fun game!

My 3 year old and I enjoy this game! You put the five "treasures" all around the house, then play a memory type game to uncover the doubloons for a specific treasure. You have to match a treasure doubloons and a secret doubloon using Spyglass . Once you have a matching pair of doubloons you flip the timer and the player must recover the treasure using only the sword! The only trouble we had with this game is the secret doubloons are difficult to see through the spyglass if you are in a dimly lit room. Initially we played in the evening and I found it hard to see the picture, however when we played the next morning it was much easier to decipher the secret doubloon.
I appreciate that the treasure map used for the memory game doubles as a bag for easy and convenient storage of the game. When we aren't playing the game my son loves to play with the sword (which is foam and quite durable) and the spyglass.

Going on a treasure hunt!

We love games that get us up and moving. This is a fun and easy one that doesn't last too long but keeps kids entertained and on the go. I really like that you store the pieces in the bag. Also the pieces are nice sized. The kids really liked the spy glass & sword. A few times they have taken out their pirate hats and patches from the toy box to wear while playing the game to really get into it.

Fun Treasure Hunt Game

I thought this would be a great game to play with my pirate loving four year old daughter on her pirate birthday. The concept is pretty good... it's memory with a twist. When you make a match you take the sword and go find the treasure (the players "hide" the treasures). You flip over the doubloons to find the match. For half of the doubloons you need to use "Jake's spyglass" to decode the hidden picture. The problem? You can't easily see the "hidden" picture, when you use the spyglass. My daughters go fustrated and walked away from the game in 5 minutes. I am so disappointed.
