This pretty Disney Fairies jewelry box can store your jewels safe and secure. The Disney Tinker Bell music box includes a key, which can also be used as a necklace. Use the key to lock/unlock the music box, push the ladybug button to play music, and watch Tinker Bell figurine dance. You can also replace the Tinker Bell figurine with Ballerina in the musical jewelry box. The music jewelry box is powered by 3 AAA batteries, which are included with the music box.

Great Xmas Gift for a 3 year old! I bought this for my 3 year old grand niece as one of her gifts for Xmas. She fell in love with it as soon as she saw it. She recognized Tinkerbell immediately. I gave her two older sisters the old fashioned wind-up musical, balarina jewelry boxes but, I thought this one would be easier to use since you just press a button to play Wendy's theme song and watch Tinkernell or the interchangeable balarina dance once the button is depressed. It didn't take her long to figure out how the music box works. She even knew where to put the key to unlock the box. Unfortunately, the plastic necklace broke almost as soon as she unwrapped her present. I would have given this five stars if it were not for the necklace breaking. The fact that it is battery operated makes it easier for a 3 year old to operate it as opposed to winding it. The batteries are already included and installed. The jewelry box is ready to be given without having to look for batteries. It is a lovely, whimsical musical jewelry box to be given as a first jewelry box to a little girl. When she is older, I'll get her the old fashioned wind-up kind like I got her sisters. Until then, this will give her a lot of enjoyment until her parent's have to replace the batteries. I know I can count on Walmart to eventually get her a wind-up musical jewelry box; for, that's where I bought two of them for her older sisters' also affordably priced. 01/03/2012
