Great Disc Organizer for a great price! I love this Discgear Selector! It's easy to organize DVD and CD's that I've burned because of the list that you can make online. It looks amazing! The only thing that I would complain about is that because of weather conditions, the glue on the metal, long buttons came off. It seems the glue on it froze and thawed out so much that it just went hard and the buttons came off. It's an easy fix of course, just super glue it back on (I actually used Mod Podge). There's a template online where you can enter all of your DVD and CD titles and it will print you out the form of titles for you to insert in your Discgear Selector for easy viewing. It is pretty time consuming and I actually found it easier just to make an excel spreadsheet to do my title list since you just type and enter or if you have mutiple discs in a series, you can drag a cell down to copy titles. For people who don't really care and wouldn't mind to take the time to enter in the disc titles one by one, I'd say to use the template! The Discgear selector also looks amazing on my bookshelf and I love how can stack them (I got 2), I love the price for them, a little less than $30 for one and you can store 100 discs. The ugly wallet CD holders that hold 100 costs like $20 anyways, so you might as well buy the nicer looking, more functional CD holder for 10 more bucks. I love how it grabs the DVD you want! It's not hard to use and it's fun to use! You won't be disappointed with this! 04/17/2012
This item arrived in a rattling box. The metal (??) strips in front had both come unglued and were banging and bending around in the large box. Way too much money to spend on an item with such poor craftsmanship! 03/21/2012
Ingenious Storage System I'm so glad I bought two of these units! I didn't realize I had so many DVDs. I filled the first unit and still had more than thirty DVDs in cases. This is a great system. I plan on storing the paper covers in a three-ring binder, since I don't want to get rid of them.The online system of organizing the movies works great and is very easy. I'm so glad I didn't alphabetize anything first (which I almost did, before I read the instructions). You may want to group your movies according to genre before you get started, just so similar movies are in the units together. Any way you do it will work, since you will print a list and be able to see the location of every movie. It's time-consuming to organize, but I like to do this kind of thing. Well worth the time any way. (I didn't give an Excellent rating for everything because I haven't had it that long.) 03/17/2012
