If you go over it a bunch of times it will pick up stuff on carpet but honestly for the price it is great... I have broken glass and just had dirt or whatever that I wanted to get up quickly and this is also perfect for that. I don't regret buying it at all I've had it for a couple months now. 03/12/2013
