I LOVE THIS LITTLE STOVE!!! I absolutely love this stove! It was ready to go right out of the box. No assembly. We just plugged it in. The flames are realistic and it makes my living room so cozy. It heats very well and made the room toasty. It's not hot to the touch as you can see from my picture. Everyone that has seen it so far is now in the process of buying one. 01/13/2012
Good choice This midsize Dimplex electric wood stove I purchased about a month ago. Its been a pretty warm winter, but on those chilly nights and mornings, I have used it and it works great. I have it in the living room area and it heats up that area, the dining room and the first bedroom pretty well. To get it pretty warm it takes a couple hours for a fairly large area. If your wanting it just for a bedroom or just for a mid size living room, it takes about 45 min to heat the area. I have not received my first electric bill yet since I bought the heater so Im not sure exactly how much energy it uses, but Id ather pay an electric bill than an electric bill and a gas bill and since I've purchased this heater I havent had to use my furnace.Its safe to use around kids and pets. The outer box stays cool. It is safe to run all night as well. It has a thermostat setting so you can heat the room to your liking and then it goes off and comes on by itself to keep that temp in the room. It generates a little bit of noise but nothing loud enough you cant sleep through. 03/06/2012
Great looking and works well. I was skeptical at first how the thermostat worked, but it's very simple. Turn all the way up and keep turning until you find the room temperature you like. Took a few hours to get it right, but haven't touched it since... Looks much better than all the others I researched. If you are torn between this and any others, just get this.
