This zinc oxide diaper rash ointment is formulated with petrolatum, lanolin, cod liver oil, vitamin A, vitamin D and other fine ingredients to form a barrier against wetness and germs. This zinc oxide diaper rash ointment can be applied to rashes that have formed on the buttocks and in the folds of the legs as well as to healthy skin as a preventative measure. This skin rash ointment goes to work quickly, often showing results in as little as several hours following application. I had and a bad reaction to a new deoderant and my underarm was raw and super painful. Once I applied desitin I was in comfort. It smells good too. Underarms were healed the next morning.
