    Big Screen Backyard Fun!! This screen ROCKS! When I first set it up I wasn’t sure if the fan noise would be distracting. I found a pair of 200watt 2.1 THX certified PC speakers that worked out great and did a good job covering up the fan noise. As other reviews noted the screen had a few creases after unpacking. Early in the night the creases were visible but that was a 15 minutes after sundown. After it got a little darker we couldn’t find the imperfections even if we tried but I’m not folding the screen again. I want to get a big cardboard tube to roll it up for storage. I'd recommend using all of the anchor hardware to keep the screen still. The first night we set up, according to local weather we had 7-9mph winds and the anchor system worked great.The only problem was the inner-connect wire between two fans. It is mentioned all over in these reviews and can be easily fixed with 4 tie wraps.TipI had to deal with some wires for power and sound running up to the screen and 12 kids running around before the start of the movie. These wires can't be eliminated but can be tamed to avoid someone tripping on them by taking an old garden hose and slicing it open with a utility knife and putting the wires inside the hose. 05/04/2009
    OMG ! What an awesome value and great experience! This screen really gives you the WOW factor. My previous screen was a Sima 72 in. but when I put the Gemmy 144 up i was like "OMG this thing is HUGE". We had our first showing yesterday with the whole family over and everyone just broke out laughing when they first saw it. It really is like a drive-in experience. The value is exceptional. Wal Mart is the cheapest place you'll find it($168 compared to Amazon $229). Here's a couple of tips:1. Be sure to add a 3-6 ft. extension chord between the two fans as mine came unplugged several times during the first trial run.2. For your first time putting it up give yourself 25-30 minutes to put it up. I was by myself.3. Put the screen in the sun for a couple of hours and use some bungie chords to stretch it to get some of the wrinkles out. Not a must but it did help with the wrinkles.4. When storing the screen never fold it back up, always try to roll it to prevent creases.5. When inflating make sure both zipper compartments are fully zipped around the fans.6. When deflating make sure both zipper compartments are fully UNzipped.7. Your better off buying a large tuperware bin and storing it in there rather then using the bag it came with. It does fit in there but who wants to stuggle with it at midnight when your doing all your picking up. 07/10/2009
    Awesome I bought this for events we go to in our motorhome. We play movies and videos when it gets dark. It's great. The fans are built in- all you do is plug it in and hope for no wind.I like that the screen is separate from the blow-up. One of the nights it was too windy- so we just put up the screen with bungy cords.I just need to figure out how to roll it up so there are no creases. The screen is missing one buckle on the top left (they are sewed in)- but that doesn't seem to matter.Once deflated there is no putting it back in the bag it came in though- we bought a storage container with a lid and all the cords and ties go in it too.I use the Optoma HD71 projector- also bought from Walmart. And use a 35' HDMI cord. And the quality is superior to what I ever expected. 04/01/2009
    Outdoor movie screen We received our screen and it works great. The bag it comes in ripped immediately but it was a pain to put it back in the same bag, so we got a plastic bucket with a top. Everyone who has seen it so far loves it. The picture quality is great. The fans will suck up grass, so watch that. The wires connecting the bottom fans came disconnected, so one side wouldn't work and we had to reach all the way through to the other side to pull it back over. but we just tied the connections together to prevent that in the future. I would highly recommend this product. When the winds are high it's more of a challenge but the kids love it. 04/27/2008
