Thank you for your question.  You will only use a bed frame, aka conversion rails when you are ready to convert the crib to the full size bed.  If you are using as a crib you will not need any outside products except for the crib mattress.

The clearance height from the floor to the bottom of the front rail is 5".

At the present time there is no free standing changing table, however there is a changing topper (link below), which sits on top of the dresser.

My first impression when receiving this crib did not smell good. After opening the box, a strong smell of varnish filled my home. My husband and I did not consider it safe for the baby until the smell wore off a couple days later. We build it after arriving and left it alone a couple days away from us on the opposite side of the house. Nonetheless, I like the style of this crib which is very rustic but modern. I love the grey color! What I like most is that it will be a crib/bed that my baby will use throughout the years. This 4-in-1 crib converts to a toddler bed, daybed, and eventually a full size bed headboard. The crib on its self has three levels in which the mattress can be adjusted. Any standard size mattress will surely fit. The mattress I have is pretty big and thick, much like an adults luxury mattress and fits perfectly fine. Everything comes included for it to be set up as a crib and as a daybed, but if you wish to convert it as a toddler bed you will need to buy the guardrail separately. The same goes for full size bed, the platform bed kit is sold separately. Overall, this is a strong and sturdy crib in which I believe will last quite a while, hopefully until my son needs a full size bed all to himself.

We absolutely love this crib! You may need a couple of people to help put it together, but the end results are gorgeous.

This is a free product I received as a participant of Walmarts' Spark Review process; established to help prospective buyers shop with confidence, be informed and to aid and promote a positive shopping experience. My new Delta Cambridge 4-in-1 Convertible Crib has made me gasp at just how beautiful it is. I chose the Rustic Grey convertible crib for our home. The color, texture, styling and quality of the wood construction makes this piece of furniture a versatile addition to any home. I've enclosed a photo describing this crib / toddler bed in full detail but wish to mention that the overall completed product has been tested and certified to meet all standards established by government agencies. The beauty of this particular crib goes beyond its visual aesthetic, it graduates from crib, to toddler bed, to a daybed and finally to a full size bed headboard. Included are the daybed rail, toddler guardrail but the full size platform bed kit is sold separately at Walmart.com. There are three positions of mattress support and this crib is suitable for a standard size crib mattress sold separately. Walmart.com has a great assortment of crib mattresses for you to choose from. Be prepared! This product is heavy and bulky. I moved the box into my home myself and put it together myself however recommend a 2 person lift and for convenience due to its bulky nature, a 2 person build. The instructions were easy to follow, accurate and in a few different languages. It is a beginner level project to enjoy with only a handful of parts. I appreciated having had to put this crib together as it gave me a better understanding of all its features and how to manipulate it for safe handling. The packaging was super. Everything was securely in place with plastic and foam protection. No damage was found from distributor to my home. Walmart shipped via UPS packaged in a box. I am very happy with this product and, would recommend to my family and friends.The quality for the value exceeded my expectations and I feel confident you'd be pleased if purchased too.

Simply a Gorgeous piece of functional furniture!

Exactly what I wanted. Very sturdy and easy to assemble! It was a little darker than I thought but that's not a negative towards it. I'm a big fan of Delta and I would recommend this product to anyone.

I like this crib because it took a hour to put up by myself plus it had the hardware kit with tool to install.

Delta 4 in 1 crib

Seems solid. Slightly scuffed upon arrival. matches bedroom beutifully. Large. 6 month old seems to love it, only took hubby about 15min to put together.

This is our second Delta Children branded crib. Delta exceeded my expectations with this one.

Our first crib is supposedly made of solid wood. I used “supposedly” because while the wood parts do not feel like they are compressed wood composites that is covered with veneers, it is much lighter than the furniture made with solid wood that I typically see. The manual says the wood is from New Zealand, maybe that's how they are over there. But anyway, that is not the case with the Cambridge crib. The wood parts appear to be high quality and weigh substantially. So I have no doubt that they are solid wood.

Assembling the Cambridge crib requires two people. The instructions are very clear and include illustrations. So as long as you pay attention to it, it is fairly straightforward. It took my husband and me about an hour and half to assemble it. The advertising pictures make it look like it is thin and flimsy. But it is far from that. The finished product feels sturdy and high quality. It has a nice weight to it so it will not be easily tipped over. But it is also not too heavy that one medium built person cannot move it by herself. It matches the dimensions as advertised, and our Sealy standard crib mattress fits pretty well in it.

There are a few more things that I like better of this crib than our old one. First, the Cambridge crib has straight legs, which takes less space than the old crib that has curvy legs. I also don't hit my toes on the legs as often, because of the fact they are not protruding. I find this quite settling. Secondly, the wood parts don't get scratched very easily because of the higher quality and density. My old crib had scratch marks even during assembly, because the density of the wood is so low. Also, I prefer the solid back board on the Cambridge crib. It is going to look much better as a headboard when the time comes. I also think that Delta is doing a good advertising campaign with this crib. The list from Walmart.com is concise but informative. It has everything you need including the downloadable manual, the safety data, and the part numbers of accessories. Last but not least, I like its unique appearance. We are remodeling the nursery and it can definitely set the tone.

The only future enhancement that I would recommend is to include the guardrail with the crib. I know this may lead to a higher price. But everyone needs the guardrail shortly after they purchase the crib. Why not include it so people can be in pace knowing they have everything they need (sleep space-wise) for their new bundle of joy for a few years?

P.S.: if you are using it for a new born, I recommend protecting the four sides as soon as the crib is assembled. In a few short months, the baby will be teething and you don't want those sharp budding teeth to digging into the sides of your brand new crib. I had to learn it the hard way.

A solidly built crib that exceeds my expectations

This crib looks awesome, was very easy to assemble and extremely affordable. It has a great vintage grayish brown wood look to it. 

The only downside is the quality. It's not bad at all, but you're getting what you pay for. Would highly recommend this over a $500+ crib.

Great Purchase for the Price

This is green gaurd certified and now has a prop 65 warning for hazardous chemicals. My baby (while teething) EASILY chewed off the finish on it while standing in his crib. Now we have an untreated natural wood crib purchased from IKEA for half the price.
