Rated 1 out of 5 by fairfield287 worst printer ever I purchased a DELL V725w printer from Dell approximately six months ago. It worked fine for the first five months. Then it stopped printing and i was getting a communications error.I contacted Dell tech support and we worked on the issue for 4 hours - not fixed.I spent another two hours on with tech support - resolution was that i needed a new printer. I was told i would have it in 2-3 business days and i would receive a return label to ship back the defective printer.Waited one week - nothing arrived and no communication from Dell.Call tech support to inquire about printer - there was some type of mistake and it was not shipped.Waited another week, still no printer - called again - i was told it was back ordered. I became angry and told tech support that this is not satisfactory. finally i got them to agree to expedite the order.After 2 weeks i finally got the new printer - but not the return label or return instructions.Had to call tech support for a third time just to correct this issue.Spent a couple of hours installing the new printer and packing up the old printer.SAME ISSUE OCCURED WITH THE NEW PRINTER - COULD NOT CONNECT WIRELESS.Call tech support again and spent another two hours trying to resolve the same issue. - tech support could not resolve it.Plus i have another issue with the new printer. I keep getting an error message on the printer itself that the printer heads need aligned. This happens everytime a turn it on. It prints a test page which wastes paper and ink.AT this point i have had it. I feel you have sold me a defective product that i have spent about 12 hours trying to fix.I told the tech that i was done and the ONLY resolution i would be satisfied with is a different printer. I have had it with this model.I was told that this was not possible.What is possible is that i will no longer be a DELL customer.If you continue to treat customers in this manner you will kill this company. 12/24/2012
Rated 4 out of 5 Would recommend I bought this printer from Dell while also purchasing a PC. Stole it for about $80 ! I'm very happy with it. Ethernet connectivity good....wireless setup REALLY quirky, but once online has been solid. Scanner good, fax good. I love it ! USB slot for scanning to flash drive as a PDF is slick. HAVE NOT done photos on it yet. In service about 10 months now. Print cartridges (X4) about $60 4-pack. 04/04/2013
