Great labtop This is my second Dell 14z labtop, I bought first one from Dell company and delivery took 2 weeks, we needed another one, so after lots of search found Walmart online offer 100$ under everywhere. Website estimated that shiping date will be one week after order, but it came 4 day aftter order. I love Dell products and Walmart, and Love their combination. 01/14/2012
Great laptop....met all my expectations I have had my laptop for almost 1 month. I use it for seaching the web and emails. I also use it for work applications. I am in the medical field and use an EMR. The laptop has been great for work. Very fast and was easy to set up. I love Windows 7. The only thing that I would change is to get a lighted keypad. 01/28/2012
good for school Hello. I am going to let you know a tiny bit about myself so you don't get the wrong ideas about my review.I'm a 25 year old college student who uses her computer for 5 main things: internet (email, youtube, facebook, googledocs, etc.), Skype, music and running my business (which means internet use for ordering and marketing and contact management) and making and saving documents on my computer for school.#1- the trackpad (mousepad) won't turn off so I occasionally write in the wrong spot as the palm of my hand selects different areas of the screen. This is a known issue that I looked up on Dell.com and it wasn't answered by their staff. This makes me sad.#2 It's slower than I thought it would be but that could also be my internet.I love the sound and it might just be windows 7 but the ability to change the bass on my different audio devices is a much better improvement from my last computer (a 2005 version of a Compaq Presario running Windows XP).The battery is great. I love the built in camera. I'm not a computer genius, but my dad is trained and he thought it was the best one for the price. I wasn't willing to pay a full grand for a piece of technology that would be outdated in a few years but with the two year warranty with Walmart if *I* do anything to it like drop it or spill coffee it's covered that's wonderful.I love how sleek and relatively lightweight it is.I got the dark one but my friend has the red one and she loves it.Unless you are some super computer genius-and if you were I don't think you would be purchasing your computers on Walmart- then I would recommend it to you. :)Blessings in your new computer search! 02/29/2012
