Rated 3 out of 5 by Fryrod It's black, not brown/teak color I bought this set because the website said it matched the Delahey dining set that I bought last year, which I have been quite happy with. The Conversation set delivery date was delayed a few times, and when I picked it up from the Walmart, the boxes looked as though they were thrown down several flights of stairs, but I was pleased it had finally arrived because I was having company arrive in a few days. When I opened the boxes, the parts were intact and not damaged. However, the wood color was black when it was supposed to be brown. So it definitely does not match the Delahey Dining set as the website says. I didnt' return it because I needed the set for company and it was just too much trouble. I have left the set out in the sun this summer, attempting to bleach out the color, and the black on the coffee table comes off in large areas revealing very light whiteish wood. I tried using teak oil on the table top, and the teak oil removes more of the black in some areas, but does not make the white wood brown. Needless to say, the set will have to be painted to get the right color because teak oil does not work. Aside from the color problem, the chairs are quite comfortable and resist water and cat hair. If you're buying for the wood color, it is black. If you are buying for the comfort, it is great. 08/02/2012

I had read the other comments about putting the pieces together, so I took one of the chairs as the first one to put together. The directions aren't as clear as they could be, but once I got the first chair done, the other chair, love seat and table were a snap! Well worth the price and we're enjoying having this set. 07/23/2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by ReluctantBigBoxShopper Wonderful, Solid Outdoor Furniture This set is amazing. Because it wasn't possible to see it in local stores, I hesitated to buy it for months. I comparison shopped, thought some more, second-guessed, wavered between resin wicker and wood, etc. Finally, I decided I couldn't find a better value and the natural FSC wood seemed far superior to any synthetic material I might buy, so I ordered it. I am thrilled. This set is really is wonderful. It has a great organic vibe given that the material is natural and the green color is neutral yet really nice. It's a perfect backdrop for whatever else you might do with your outdoor space (twinkle lights, an herb garden, throw pillows, hanging baskets, whatever). As far as quality - the cushions are substantial, and the construction is solid. The stain is very dark. Of course, I can't speak to longevity yet, but the construction is so solid I imagine we will have this set for years to come. I ordered site-to-store shipping (free!) and my dad and I fit the boxes into his minivan with the seats removed. I assembled the set with my sister in about an hour and a half, and she and I are not what one might call handy. All you need is a phillips head screw driver; the wrench comes in the hardware pack. (One more thing - my hardware pack was missing one nut. Easy enough to replace and not tragic enough to warrant a complaint from me, but be prepared for a small bit of inconvenience.) 06/02/2012
