this game is a zombie hunters dream. make up your own weapons, pick up weapons, shop in the mall for free, and bust heads!! what else can a self respecting headbasher ask for.

I bought his as a gift for my 17 year old son and he has had a lot of fun playing it. We like a lot of the differences from the first game, especially being able to use separate components to create new zombie killing weapons.

I still prefer the original game but this sequel is a worthy addition to the franchise. I maxed out this game in the first month but continue to play co-op at least once a week. It really can provide hours of entertainment with friends. It saddens me that they removed the photography element (and Frank West, in general) but the improved Survivor A.I. more than makes up for this. Once you have Chuck at level 20+ you should have absolutely no trouble defeating the game's psychopaths and saving every survivor.

Many missions on the first game were very hard, but eventually I beat it. The first Dead Rising was awesome, and hopefully the second one is too.

  • A. According to my 17 year old son it is as good if not better in some areas as the first one. He said that some missions are easier than others, but that you can always do some easier ones and go back to the harder ones when your guy is better.

  • A. At lower levels you will feel pressed for time trying to save everyone and complete the main story missions. Remember, just like in the first game you can restart with your acquired levels and character stat upgrades, so everything eventually becomes easier and easier until you can walk right through most of the bosses fairly quickly.

  • A. As someone who maxed out all of the achievements the first game, including Saint, I can say that Dead Rising 2 is a breeze. The survivors are 100x smarter than they were in the first game and you PLENTY of time to save everyone. =)
