I LOVE this product.. but now the surrounding WalMart's do not carry the refill! I shouldn't HAVE to buy the dispenser each and every time. I'm getting REALLY tired of all of these changes... perhaps I should start looking elsewhere.

I have been using Dawn Foaming dish soap for a while now and I love it! It's easy to use and cleans the dishes very well. The only problem that I've had lately is finding the refill bottles in the stores, but luckily, Walmart.com had it therefore I stocked up! The price was right and it was shipped quick and cheap.

  • I would think it's fine for stainless steel. It's just dish soap.

  • Yes it is safe for stainless steel - I've used it on several pans and knives that I own and it has never been a problem - cleans them spotless.

  • Well, I wash a set of stainless bowls and all my dinnerware and have not seen any indication it's anything but perfect for stainless steel.

  • i have a dishwasher so i use it each time for individual pans, etc to clean. I would think it would not take more than 2 squirts but truly, i dunno. i also mix it in a large spray bottle with white vinegar and water for cleaning dirty stuff and around kitchen...use equal proportions.

  • When you learn how to use it 1(one). You do not use this product in the traditional method, wet your dishes, apply one pump to your scrubber, I use a sponge with the scrubbing material on one side, wet the sponge and start to wash, do this over your wet dishes, after you wash most of your dishes or when you see the foam drying rinse what's washed and continue on.

  • Two or three at the most. FYI Dawn Dishwashing Liquid does wonders for pipes, septic tanks and oily ducks, if you have them

  • I've found one pump goes a long way, stays sudsy and cleans 3 to 4 items thoroughly. It may be that I need to cut down on how much I use because it's so effective. So, for a sink full of dishes, I guess I would say 3 or 4 pumps if not less. It's miraculous.
