It is big for a yoga mat you can almost put 2 inside with 2 strings to tie off the opening. there is 2 pockets on the outside one can a hand towel the other pocket is 6 inch long by 3 inch wide a flap covers the opening with button closure. their is a carrying strap 04/03/2012
