Good product so far Have only had this product for a few weeks. It is attractive stainless steel and meets our needs for extra refrigeration. Runs very quiet. 05/24/2011
Watch Out If You Reverse The Door I have owned a Danby refrigerator (with no freezer section) for four years that is identintical to this model, so I ordered this model with the freezer section included. Everything was fine until I had to reverse the door, moving the hinge assemblies from the right side to the left side so the door opens with easier access. There is a small plastic bushing in the top hinge assembly that would not come out of the top of the door and transfer to the other side of the door, so the upper hinge pin now rattles around in the hole on the left side of the door. The door seals, but it is not aligned correctly. I'll have to fashion (or purchase) a small bushing to make the door operate correctly. A small design flaw in an otherwise fine compact refrigerator/freezer. 05/09/2011
So Far So Good Bought this refrigerator based on a recomendation from a friend who sells outdoor bbq islands, and who also recomended that since this refrigerator will be used outdoors, that we only turn it on when we will be entertainig guests outdoors. So far we have used it about 3 times, and the unit does turn on and does cool down beverages after about 4 to 6 hours, depending upon the quantity on beverages that are placed in the unit.
