Excellent Value, Excellent Product! After reading all the glowing reviews and comparing prices for the product online (including shipping), this was by far the best deal. All you need is a friend with a truck and a dolley! The reviewers who mentioned how quiet it is - it's true! I'm picky about sound, I want QUIET in my little studio apt. I returned a frig/freezer purchased from Compact Appliances because it was so loud. This will make a slight noise every so often, but not enough to notice unless you're trying. I've had it for over a week and can't say enough good things about it! I kept the styrofoam piece that is the size of the freezer to use as a base so that it doesn't make indentations in the rug. 02/21/2012

good little freezer great little freezer, extremely quiet. I wonder if Danby makes fridges? I'd buy one. The problems were with the shipping; the first one had to be replaced because it's shipped in its original box, with no extra carton and gets pretty torn up - bent and dented metal. The replacement was also dented, but less badly, so rather than try a third time, I asked for a discount and Walmart gave me 20% off. It's a nice size if you just want a little more freezer space. 09/13/2009
Seems to work well I got my Danby freezer three weeks ago. It arrived promptly and was a breeze to install. Instruction is very simple. So far it's working to expectation. There's enough room in there for our need as a family of 4. 09/05/2008
