Nice refrigerator Purchased unit to use as a beverage center. Could not use standard beverage centers either because they were too wide for space available or they were modified wine coolers, which usually don't get cooler than 42 F. I replace the wire shelves with plexiglass to allow cans on all shelves. Very pleased with result and keeps beverages very cold. In fact, I was nearly freezing items before getting thermostat set just right. No problems with delivery and it is a true SS finish. 04/15/2009
DO NOT BUY DANBY PRODUCT Ibought this 6 months ago. and already went bad. talk to Danby thy told me take back to Walmart for refund. walmart has 90 days policy so thy can not do anything but thy give me composetion for $ 30 that all thy can do which i can understand (thanks Walmart) talk to Danby about Walmart policy thy said thy gonna send tacnishian to my home and will fix it . 3 days later compny call ISSCO,LLC (worst compny) from chicago came and took refrigrator and told me we will let you know whats wrong with it. wait for 2 week no answer and finally after 3 weeks thy came back and told me its not fixable. i call Danby and talk to there service person she told me she will get back to me its been 5th weeks but still no answer from Danby. every time i call thy running me arround. we will call you and never call. THIS IS WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I EVER EXPERIONS. I SUGGEST PLEASE DO NOT BUY ANY DANBY PRODUCT THY DONT STAND BEHIND PRODUCT WARRENTY 06/23/2010
Great Product...Great Price! I have been looking for a smalll refrigerator to host my husbands beer and other cold beverages that overflow from our kitchen refrigerator. I researched all makers of small refrigerators and compared their features and customer reviews. I also researched price and realized the price to ship these procucts were substantial. I might as well go to my local store and just buy one to save on shipping. I tried that but I couldn't find what I wanted. There was definitely more of a selection on line.Wal-Mart was my choice since they offered an Energy efficient model of the Danby refrigerator with FREE shipping to the store. We Bought This After Several Wine Refrigerators... that were much more expensive, but would not get drinks cold enough for us. I liked the see through door on the others better, but this one wins hands down on function, at a fraction of the price. It is behind the bar in our game room, and It will hold plenty of drinks, will get them cold enough to freeze if you're not careful, and the stainless steel front looks better than I thought it would. All in all I have been very happy with this purchase, and was unsure I would be when I bought it. We had bought several other Fridge/Wine Cooler combo's that would not get soft drinks cold enough.
