    Good Enough For Me - Maybe Not For Everyone I am able to plug into my TV or computer and listen to music on a portable on back patio and front porch. Also upstairs and in basement.Useable range seems to be 20 to 30 feet.There are issues you should be aware of. I think these issues exist with all or almost all devices like this.Setting antenna is touchy. I have to play with different lengths and directions.It is subject to interference when you move near the radio.It is subject to electrical interference from just about anything in your home, or even your neighbors. This is just an occasional problem for me.It did not work with an analog tuning radio I have. I listen on a portable with a digital tuner that I paid $200 in the early 90s.Since I listen on a portable radio (not with headphones) I don't expect the highest fidelity. However just out of curiosity I pluged into my computer playing music and tuned into my big stereo across the room. The reception was good but the fidelity was more like listening to an AM radio station.It is my understanding that these issues are common with all transmitters like this.I works great for what I use it for.     Great Deal After reading some of the reviews, I was hesitant to purchase this product. However, I decided to try it for myself. I am so glad I did! This unit Works like a dream. My son was riding along with me and did not realize it wasn't the radio he was listening to. When I first received it I had to do some experimenting to find the best FM channel to use. Also, be sure you keep the transmiter as far away from your MP3 player as possible to avoid static. I put my MP3 player on the seat and let the transmiter hang off the seat. Then I have no problems with static. 03/19/2008
    This transmitter is a lot better than the Belkin I owned for another I pod. This one has very little static & very easy to use. It's nice because there is a charger that will charge the battery for the transmitter. I recommended it to a coworker. I'm rating it as a 4 star because as I mentioned above there is some static but not that noticeable. 02/13/2009
