Depending upon the USB 2.0, the 10/100 Ethernet Adapter tends to increase the transfer speed of earlier USB Fast Ethernet adapters. It also eliminates the need of using an ISA, PCI, or PC Card slot to add LAN connectivity. The D-Link Ethernet adapter offers a standard RJ-45 connector that allows a quick and simple method of connecting it to an Ethernet of 10Mbps speed. NOT WORTH IT! Did not work for my computer using windows XP, contacted tech support, they didn't know what to do either and installing driver didn't work. Anything can have a good price BUT if it doesn't work, it will never be worth it. 05/04/2012

Replaced failed Ethernet My Ethernet port went out. I just plugged the D-Link High-Speed USB 2.0 To Ethernet Adapter into an open USB Port and connected my Ethernet cable from my Modem to it. Works Great! 01/11/2011
Not good for Vista computer Driver will not work on Vista OS. Blue screen constantly-will take it back for refund. Got a trendnet and it works way better with Vista. 09/17/2010
