Yes, we bought the kit for installing the ice maker into regular water line and just tapped it into this.

Will this work f installed along supply of water to the refrigerator ice maker?

It has an indicator light but ours has never worked right, we jsut change it when the taste changes.

Does this unit remove salt from the soft water machine? I can taste the salt slightly and also want to avoid health problems from the sodium. Thanks

Easy filtered water at your sink.

Filter was very easy to install. I did it @ 530 am before I went to work after only 3 hrs sleep. Filters water great. Taste clarity all very good. Now just see how long filter last. It says 500gal .

great filter well worth the 60$

I like this one because it has an indicator to let you know when the filter needs to be changed. Convenient to have it right at the sink when needed. I didn't like the ones that you keep in your refrigerator, takes up precious room. Excellent product.

Great filter system

Super easy to install with a few common household tools. The hardest part was drilling out the stainless steel sink hole. Can't comment on the difficulty for other sink materials (ceramic, stone, enamel, etc.) but I imagine it might be more difficult do to possible cracking or chipping. I modified the installation some to make it more efficient. I purchased about 25 feet of 1/4 inch water line (you might need more or less), the valve tap clamp for the water supply, and a 1/4 in. "T" adapter. I found an easily accessible spot high on a beam in the basement and mounted the filter unit there. Much easier than working under a sink - no need to remove everything, no additional room used up under the sink, and easier to change the filter when the time comes. I attached the water line to the source and to the input side of the filter housing. I then attached a section of water line to the output side of the housing and the other end to the "T" adapter. I then ran a section of line to the sink, and another section of line to the refrigerator/ice maker. One filter for two sources. Works like a charm, no leaks, great water, better ice. Nice!

Easy as one, two, three with an added twist

We installed new cabinets and a new sink. I had the plumber install the filter also. At first the water came out dirty not clear but after running for two days then we had clear water. So far, I like the filter and would recommed to a friend. It does not take much rooom and is easy to change.

Good Filter

this product is easy to install. The water from it is very good and the faucet works well. The filter is much better than an attached to the faucet purifier. More water cleaned per filter. (500 gal with level 4 purification)
Good product for the money and convienent.

Easy to install

We had bought this one because a different brand made us sick. Culligan works great, better than the last brand that we had bought. The only downfall is that the faucet seems a little flimsy, but that is how that other brand was also.

great value

The purifier is great, but they only provide one size connector, and it is not standard in my area, in Michigan. I needed to get a part from a plumbing supply store. It is possibly available from a regular hardware store, but my local Ace did not have the part. It can be purchased on line. I was disappointed that they did not give any guidance in the instructions of what to do if the siE of the water line differs from the size of the provided connector.

Great purifier, likely to need additional parts.

I am sure Culligan makes good water filtration systems. This is an under the sink system with a faucet on top of the sink. It is designed for a do it yourself installation. I have been working as a handyman for 15 years now. I have installed multiple kitchen faucets for customers over the years. Culligan sends this unit with a 1/2 inch water connector to attach to your cold water valve under the sink. Turn the cold water valve off, disconnect the water line coming from the faucet, install the connector provided with the unit and reconnect the water line from the faucet. Connect the filter to the cold water supply and to the easy to install faucet and you have filtered water. Should be a thirty minute or less project for even a novice DIY person. Except…..the common water supply valve used in every under the sink work I have ever done uses a 3/8 inch connector. After multiple trips to the hardware store looking for the correct adapters to connect Culligan's 1/2 inch connector to my standard 3/8 inch supply line I finally have filtered water. And it taste great! Culligan will tell you that they show a work around to this problem in the instructions. It would work except most modern new faucets come with an already attached supply line that connects to your cold water supply valve and it is way to small for it to work.  Again, love my filtered water! Did not love the process to get it.

Hard to install!

Didn't filter much…quality was almost same as unfiltered water
