The IC-100 is a Level 1 drinking water filter that connects to the back of the refrigerator using quick-connect fittings. Rated 1 out of 5 by gnmn Does not come with the adaptors The product description states this filter "has optional adaptors included for installation when using braided tubing with nut ends". It did not come with any adaptors. So if you are looking for a filter with threaded connectors to use with braided hose, keep looking. The filter itself may work fine, but it will not work with braided hose. 05/08/2013
