The key component of this Crosman Air Rifle and Range Kit is the Phantom - a .177-caliber break barrel air rifle that shoots up to 1,200 fps using lead-free pellets. The Crosman Phantom Rifle and Range Kit also includes 1,000 pellets, safety glasses and two different Zombie-type targets in four designs to add variety and fun to your practice routine. The Crosman Phantom Rifle in this Rifle and Range Kit features an ambidextrous stock with a single-shot firing mechanism. The barrel is rifled for accuracy and the rifle's firing mechanism is spring-based. An ambidextrous manual safety prevents accidental firing during transport or while on the range. Rated 5 out of 5 by stalepea Great rifle... oh yeah, and it comes with stuff. Rifle is amazingly powerful and accurate. Once you mount a scope, that is. The problem is: these aren't iron sights on this gun, they're plastic. Mine broke within the first week. (Admittedly, I handled it pretty rough) Trust me, you're gonna want a scope. I bought the NC Star 4x20 tactical for around 20 bucks. It took a good minute to sight in, but now I can group every spot within 3/4 in. at 35 yds. Overall, this rifle has served well for target practice, teaching my kids proper firearm respect, and even small game hunting. I bagged 3 rabbits just this morning. The included items are kind of cheesy... The metal spinner targets are smaller than they appear, and I could've printed better zombie targets from google images. 1000 rounds of Crosman doomed pellets kind of makes up for it, though. I guess the point is: I give it 5 stars. 03/09/2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by OldManHillbilly good air rifle at a great value. I think my expectations were a bit too high. This is the first single shot pellet rifle I have purchased. I expected it to be quieter and slightly more powerful. I don't enjoy the break barrel action so far. It seems stiff an un-natural to me. On the up side, it is far more accurate than my old BB gun. That being said, I will probably use my old BB repeater far more than I use this rifle. 02/25/2013
