Yes, there are two top pieces for the middle of the lid, one regular type and one that you attach the stir things too and has a separate plug that plugs together with the pot plug.   So, it can be a regular crockpot or a stirring one.

Cleaning

She wanted a crock pot with a timer and the turning feature is a nice "cherry on top". So far so good. She has used it 3 times since we bought it and everything turned out perfect.

wife loves it

I was very suprised about how tender the beef came out and very tasty. I prepared all ingredients together early morning and went about my day when I came back for it dinner was done. It even did the stirring for me and nothing stuck to the bottom of the pot. I only had it for 4 days so far and have used it 3 out of the 4 days. I plan on investing in another one, no more standing over the stove for me.

Set it and forget it

I really like that you can program the hours and when it has finished cooking it goes to the warm setting. Also, the stirring lids are especially great for soups and chili.

This crockpot is great...the auto stir feature works like a charm. No more nasty bottom/edges to deal with. Easy to use.

LOVE!!

This is the greatest thing ever for slow cooking! The iStir Crock Pot comes with 2 different stirring attachments that are very easy to use. It automatically stirs your food every 30 minutes for 5 minutes at a time. It also has a pulse button that you can push to stir the food for 1 minute & it doesn't interrupt the regular stir schedule. This also includes a regular handle that can be attached to the lid, in case you want to cook a chicken or something solid that doesn't need to be stirred. My favorite feature is the locking lid though. It seals in the heat while allowing minimal steam to be released through the vent hole. This Crock Pot also includes a Keep Warm setting, which is an amazing feature for things like vegetable soup, chili, beans or dips!

Love My iStir Crock Pot!!

This is a great product and the "stir" feature is quite functional. It starts stirring 2 hrs into the cooking and actually shortens the cooking time by not having to open the lid to hand stir. Glad I bought it and find it well worth the price. Definitely satisfied!

Different yet practical.

I first saw this crock-pot on tv in a camerical and desided to try it ,I'am glad I did I went out and brought me a piece of boneless beef and used it with a recipe that I had and oh boy it came out like I put my foot in it,this crock pot is the best .....were has it been all my life....

The Best

If the lid is not centered and locked tight it will pop open during cooking. Otherwise been great so far.

The lid is tricky

This would be awesome if you could set a specific temp instead of hi low and warm.  The stir motor needs more options.  It will pulse for 60 seconds when you push the button.  It stirs food after 2 hours.  It needs to be able to turn it on continuously, delay, or pulse.
