These tools are great for the cricut. The pick included is a must tool to remove your coutouts. The spatcula that is not included, but purchased separately is also a must. The scissors (included) are extremely sharp and great for all detailed scrapbooking.

I didn't think I needed the tool kit but it came with a value bundle I ordered. Now that I have it, I'm definitely glad I do! I use it all the time for cards and scrapbooking pages even when I don't use the cricut.

I use this kit much more than I had expected. Also have an Xacto knife that fits into the same sectin w/ the ruler and the small packet of blades can fit in there as well. It's a great kit to take along for use with other crafts.

I am wanting on of these for Christmas but am expecting a baby and need to spend the least possible but dont know the difference in them and would like to know before I buy because if one does different than the other I just want to get the one that does more for the price cause if Im going to spend that much money I want to be sure I dont regret getting the cheaper one if the expression does a whole lot more. Id like to get an answer really quick before I go buy it

    • You can do bigger cut outs on the Expression, I have had both and like my Expression best.

    • THE SIZE OF IT
      by scrapalholic1/8/2011

    • Biggest difference is the size. The Expression will cut up to 23.5x11.5" the original with only cut 5.5x11.5". You really want the larger size, especially if you want to make wall decorations for the baby's room, or favor boxes for the first birthday party, or nearly any card and envelope. I have the small one, and for the price difference now, go for the big one! You won't regret it, I promise.

    • The main differences I know is that the expression is 6inches wider and it has a better screen for viewing your work. The cricut create is the size of the personal but has more features like the expression. You can rotate and make your images around 11 inchs long and about 5 1/2 inches wide. If you get the software it is super easy to use. So far I love it.

    • Depends what you are going to do the Expression will do the 12x12 pages and large letters for Posters or class rooms. I bought the smaller one and now wish I had the bigger one. There are even borders to cut into the outsides of the 12x12 pages. Walmart has great prices I have been shopping around and buying on line and shipping to the store is great as you know that it will be there.
