I have been buying these for years for crafts. For sewing, there is room for both the thread and bobbin in each section unless you buy the large cones of thread. I do love this case, however, if you go to the toy department, you can get it cheaper because it's called a car storage case even though it's the same case. My sons store all their match box and hot wheel cars in them. Not all stores have them. My mom lives in Daytona, Florida and is unable to get them there so I buy them here in Westminster, MD and send them to her. I can't find them on-line in the toy section but I know they're in the store.

This is a really neat thread organizer for my sewing needs! It has many compartments for thead, is well made and even has a handle for carrying. Great product!

This item makes a great case for my sons Matchbox/Hot Wheels cars and trucks. As his inventory gets larger I just get another case. It has 46 compartments.

My son's Hotwheels and other die cast cars was becoming a problem so I got these to store them in. It holds 46 of them and has a long slot which holds the recently bought Matchbox firetruck he got for being good while shopping. This will not store all of his Pixar Cars collection due to size. I have not had any problem with it falling apart and for the price I paid I am completely satisfied.

I bought these to store my Hotwheels collection, this is a great product BUT is not made specifically for this purpose. The problem is that cars will tend to flip upside down when transporting them using this case. Nevertheless is the best product around for the price.

I bought these for my son (4) as he has a large collection of matchbox cars and I wanted to store them neatly. My son likes to use them to as he finds it fun to put them in the slots. They are nice as you can see the cars thru the clear case and they are sturdy. Some cars you can double up in a slot if they are thin. Also, each side has one extra long slot which is nice as every now and then you get an extra large or oddly shaped car.
My son does have trouble opening the cases sometimes and they do get rather heavy with all the cars in there, but it's well worth it if Mom's/Dad's like to have things organized!

They call it a Thread Organizer now, but its still a perfect storage option for Matchbox and Hot Wheels cars! Its better than any of the purpose-made Matchbox/Hot Wheels boxes sold in the toy department.

Since Hot Wheels or Matchbox no longer makes their car case similar to this, I bought two of these for my son's cars. It's great because it keeps the cars secure, unlike the Hot Wheels black car case. And, if the cars are small in height, you can double stack them. He can see through the case covers to see which side he wants to open. It's absolutely great! I recommend it to anyone with tons and tons of Hot Wheels or Matchbox cars.
