A welcomed addition! I purchased these to make up for poor speaker performance of the Samsung 40"LCD HDTV that I recently purchased.Don't get me wrong - I absolutely love the tv.It's just that like all of them - the sound leaves alot to be desired.I didn't want to turn on the surround every time I turned on the tv!I hooked these up to the headphone jack of the tv,adjusted the volume on the speakers and I am still able to control the volume level with my remote.The sound difference is unbelievable.Would I refer these to anyone else-ABSOLUTELY! 03/22/2009
Love them. I actually have these speakers hooked up to my old Sony TV in my home office and it sounds like I have an expensive stereo system hooked up. Your TV must have an earphone/headphone jack to plug them in. I can easily hook them into my laptop whenever I want too. I like that you can adjust the bass and they look good too! 01/15/2011
Disappointment! I read the product reviews online before purchasing this product. The reviews seemed mixed, so I was willing to take a chance. Ugh! These speakers are awful, especially for the price. There isn't a subwoofer, but there is a dial for tone. Any song with bass sounds horrible. Don't waste your money. I found a nicer pair from Logitech for less that included a subwoofer. 01/03/2010
