This is such a great price that I would recommend that you go ahead and try it! I would pre-wash it first in hot water and dry it on high in a dryer. That will both preshrink it and also it will remove any residual chemicals from the factory. Just plan on replacing it every six months to a year it it wears out or becomes stained.by VICinNH12/5/2013Was this answer helpful? (0) (0)Was this answer helpful?
Not thick enough. It's not really muslin, but more like a sheeting material. I used mine to line some thin cotton drapes.by InTheHospital3/22/2013Was this answer helpful? (0) (0)Was this answer helpful?
I do not feel that you would be happy with this.It is not for slipcovers,it is for quilting. Find fabric that is to be used for covers that is water proof.by shackmary11/26/2012Was this answer helpful? (0) (0)Was this answer helpful?
Economical, but very thin and probably wouldn't look great. Also is off-white.by stuff4sale11/25/2011Was this answer helpful? (0) (0)Was this answer helpful?
Q. Can this be used as a quilt top for an appliqués whole cloth quilt? Is it thick enough and nice enough for a top?
An applique whole cloth quilt, or a Baltimore Album Quilt, as I've heard them being called, is a great labor of love, as is a Hawaiian Applique, too. In a perfect world, I would buy a thicker cloth than this one for such a special quilt as that. But if your budget demands this price or nothing, then I'd say go for it and do the quilt!by VICinNH12/5/2013Was this answer helpful? (0) (0)Was this answer helpful?

I received a 108" by 108" whole piece when I ordered this product, so I believe that it is an error in the description when it says 72".by VICinNH12/5/2013Was this answer helpful? (0) (0)Was this answer helpful?

As shown in the description, it is 108" wide and three yards long. Three yards is also 108", so you are getting a 108" square of fabric.by JoInVeryUpstateNY7/9/2013Was this answer helpful? (7) (0)Was this answer helpful?
