Hi there, Drummerk! You can choose from 18 customized colors based on the color mixing guide included with the Crayola Marker Maker Kit. The (3) 1 oz. bottles of ink can be combined to make/mix 12 markers.

Yes. This is a three colorizing system. You get blue, red and yellow. So you can mix various combos and level of shade using these three colors.

You can only mix red, blue and yellow. I will say this was most likely my only disappointment as you can't make a turquoise marker, you have to choose between red, blue and yellow....but my six year old is thrilled with the marker maker!!

It comes with 3 colors (primary) and also comes with a chart that shows you how many units of each color you use to make certain colors. Pretty cool.

yes there is. we were able to make about ten combinations but that was pretty much it. wish they released different colors of ink so you can mix more. you are really limited with these.

You can make any color that is possible from using a mixture of red, yellow and blue, which is a heck of a lot. They give you a color chart which shows exactly how much of each color to add in order to get your desired color.

There are as many colors as you can mix...meaning the possibilities are endless. However, there are enough marker parts to make 16 markers then you need to buy the refill pack. Hope that helped.

My children made a ton of colored markers and with the right mix of colors you can make the neon colors.

We haven't been able to make neon colors but it has been a lot of fun making these with my daughter.

The original kit is standard colors, not neon but we are hoping to find a neon replacement kit.

Yep, you can make those unique colors shown on the box.

They supply a chart of colors and a cylinder with lines on it. The chart tells you how much to add of each color ink to make that specific color. The markers that are created are true to the colors on the chart. I suppose you could attempt to make your own colors by changing the amount of a particular color ink.

I am not sure which picture you are referring to but we made some great colors. Some of the colors I wasn't sure about but came out great. One little drop makes a difference as we were trying to recreate the same color we had already made and I think it had one drop or half a drop less red and it came out a little mroe orange than red but only slightly. So we made "Sunset Red and Sunset Orange". I will try to post a picture of our colors...hope this helps.

Hi Canag, As a finished product, the marker is considered washable from skin and washable clothing. However, we suggest you keep your work area well protected because the ink in the bottles is a concentrated formula and considered "full strength". In this form, if it spills or sits for a period of time on a surface or an article of clothing, it could stain.

yrs it is or it better be her Mom will have a fit. it really doesn't say but then she is 10 years old going on 16 because she has two older sisters. so they can help her too.

yes, washes off clothes and skin as easy as any of the washable Crayola products.

I do not know about clothing but it washed off of our skin easily with mild soap and water. I got some on the table and it washed off easily as well.

my daughter got some on her forehead and it came off easily with a wet paper towel. the spot she got on the carpet I used vinegar and it came off pretty easily as well so I think they could be washable.

Yes. Comes off hands and cloths. We are able to get right out.

I didn't have a problem washing it out of her clothes (she had a small spot on her sleeve) and it washed right off our hand no problem. Definitely don't use it in a carpeted area or anything like that!

The ink washed off our hands very easily with soap and warm water, we were fortunate enough not to get any on our clothing and I believe this is because of the kit's design. It holds the vials securely while you add the ink. The ink bottles are designed to "drip" one drop at a time into the vials.

My 5 year old daughter and 9 year old niece had a blast creating their own Markers. They were so excited to mix their own colors. The excitment i saw on their faces was priceless. kids can learn to make the colors in a unique way. They can mix their own colors with a helpful chart or try their own.
Overall, I am very happy with the product. Great Buy!!

Fun and Creative Product

Purchased marker maker for my son's 6th birthday. He wanted this as well as the crayola crayon maker. He definitely prefers the marker maker and enjoys his creations. Walmart.com was the only place I could find the marker maker.

My son loves this

He made all of the markers (there are a decent amount of raw materials) in a single marathon morning. We are ready for more! If though we can't continue to make anymore markers the ones he created are by far his favorite and receive much better care and treatment than his other art supplies.

I thought that this product would be like the Crayon Maker that does all of the work for you, but with the Marker Maker, you do all of the work, and that is what makes the Marker Maker fun!

This was a birthday gift for my 8 year old niece. She couldn't wait to start making her markers! One would think it would be very messy, but wasn't. Kept her, her little sister and a friend busy for several hours. I am going to start looking for refills for keep on hand for a rainy day!

Great birthday gift!

I got this for my son's 7th birthday and it was one of his favorite gifts. We opened up the box and he made his own markers the next day. The set includes labels so you can name the colors of the crayons you make. It was a lot of fun coming up with names for the colors. It also includes two marker cases for you to decorate and label for the markers you make. Overall a very fun and creative kit. Great for an indoor, rainy day project!!!
