We are very disappointed with the quality of the Dry Erase Light-Up Board. We bought it today and our daughter has been playing with it (properly) for an hour...the plastic covering which she draws on is already showing extreme scratches (I'm assuming from the cloth they give to swipe it), as if it's been through many months of use. After a few more days of use, my guess is that her drawings will not be easily drawn or viewed. The item is also very unstable. The two slide-in boards (the plastic and color board) that go within it are not secure at all and easily move. The battery compartment is another issue. Hope you are quick...you'll need to push the batteries in very quickly and then close the cover before they pop out. Sadly, there's really not much to say good about this item.

my daughter liked it but it came in a beat up box and was a little cracked on the plastic so I wouldn't recommend it.

Does not clean off like a dry erase board, light isn't that bright and the black board keeps falling out. I bought 2 of them and both have the same problem. The grandkids played with them for about 20 minutes then lost interest.

This wasn't What I expected. The lighting is weak, the color isn't as bright and it's rough for my child to erase

This is a great and fun light-up board. We purchased for our 5 year old granddaughter who had her tonils and adneoids removed and had to lie on the sofa for a couple of days. She wrote, she drew pictures, she played school, played tic-tac-toe with her sister, etc. The board kept her from becoming bored.

The ad shows the white and the black AND as a see-through board. The description does not say this. What is the truth?

    • A. Yes. There are 2 panels that go inside a frame: one clear and one with white in one side and black on the other. So when they want to "see through" all the do is draw on the clear panel and leave the other panel out.

    • A. Yes you can see through it but the eraser doesn't clean it very well so you can see your old drawings.

    • A. Yes. There are 2 boards that sit inside of the frame. The one in front is clear, and the one behind is black on one side, and white on the other. If you wanted to use clear, you would just remove the black and white board.

    • A. I got it for my 9 year old niece and she liked it. She has 2 brothers and 1 sister (ages 3 - 7). The boy age 5 and the girl age 3 loved it. The boy 7 was not as interested. So I guess 3 out of 4 kids ages 3-9 is not bad odds.

    • A. I believe the box said 3+ but its just like using a dry erase board, except instead of markers they are crayons. Which I think are better, so it only gets on the board not the kids clothes, your sofa etc.
