I don't remember what the age group was, but I bought this for a 2 1/2 yr old. I would say 2 should be the youngest to have this product since they're less likely to put the markers in their mouths.

I would say all kids as long as they do not put stuff in their mouths. My niece uses hers on a daily basis and she is 18 months old. My two kids use theirs daily as well and they are 3 &amp; 6.

I bought this item for a 2 year old. Color wonder markers come with the product along with a coloring book. The markers are No mess and cannot damage clothing. As long as a child can hold a marker, they should enjoy this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This coloring traveling kit is good for the small kids like 2 or 3 or 4 year olds that like to write on them selfs or on the wall or on the car sits this kit comes with 4mess free markers and a book with special paper made only for this kinds of markers and it comes with a little kids transparent briefcase to put there papers and markers away this markers are special because if the kid is trying to write on them selfs or the wall or the car sits it won't work because this markers only work for Crayola mess free special papers when u first start to write on the paper the color comes out clear but in a couple of seconds the color appears on the paper my daughter likes it's good to go on the go because I don't have worry about the kids writing on the sits on the car when u are the go .

Wonderful at home or on the go

I got this for my granddughter for Christmas.When she opened it the pens were dry and wouldn't color. She was very disappointed.She has another item made by Color Wonder and she loves it.
The pen is a bear made for toddler hands and it doesn't dry out,even when she
leaves him opened.Hopefully this was just a lemon and I'll try again after Christmas.

The markers work great on the paper and everything stores neatly in the case. It was nice to have a flat surface for drawing when in child safety seats in the car. Kids can use everywhere.include case( kids can use as a lap desk ) 4 board line markers and 30 pages coloring pad.I wish they add more colors because kids like  different colors.otherwise good product.

Good for kids

This was a Christmas gift. When the toddler I purchased this for used it, he had to push on the markers with some pressure before the color of the picture would show through. That's my only "complaint". Other than that, he thoroughly enjoyed it!!!

Good for a little kid.

This is wonderful product, but honestly was not happy with size of markers!!! way smaller than they seem. (crayon size) And activity book is cute and fun for the kids, but no blank pages, all fill in the pictures kind of thing, but luckily the refill paper rolls are pretty cheap overall. i would recommend for younger children (its true, doesnt work on any other paper/surface/etc.) but not for children older than 10.
i have a 1yr old and an autistic 16yr old in the house.
