Disappointed in book I LOVE the movie & highly recommend the movie. I am highly disappointed with this purchase. IT IS NOT THE BOOK!! This is only a sampling of the book for men & women. It would of appeared to be the full book since I was saving SO much money. The title of the gift set says DVD & BOOK. Just buy the movie separate!!! 02/08/2012
Great movie! I highly recommend this movie! However, I thought that it came with the book "The Resolution for Men." Instead, it only comes with sample content from "The Resolution for Men" and "The Resolution for Women." If I had realized this when I ordered it, I would've just ordered the DVD and gotten the book from the local Christian store; I would have rather spent an extra $5 an gotten all of one book than to have parts of 2 books. 02/24/2012
Great Movie, but DO NOT BUY THIS DVD BOOK COMBO Courageous is one of the best movies around about living your life with honesty and integrity. But, I doubt that whoever came up with the concept for this "DVD / Book combo pack" has actually seen the movie. Seperately, the DVD sells for $17 and the book sells for around $10. So while you may be thinking that you can save a couple of bucks if you are planning on purchasing both items, think again. The catch here is that this combo pack DOESN'T INCLUDE THE BOOK. It includes a sample of the book. I've seen samples of books online for free but was never actually compelled in any way to pay for them. Call me crazy, I guess. The packaging states that this is a sample containing excerpts from the book. Of course, this is stated on a small sticker affixed just below the DVD & Book Gift Set banner and next to the "book sample" that just so happens to have the same cover design as the real book. Maybe this was really just an early April Fool's joke. Anyway, we returned it to Wal-Mart this evening unopened and they gladly refunded our money. Thanks Wal-Mart. 02/15/2012
Great Movie! "Courageous" is a wonderful movie! It is well put together and is absolutely beautiful and inspiring. Not many movies are worth watching more than once - this movie is! With moments of laughter and tears, it will amaze you. The book that came with the movie is a sample book. It isn't very big at all. On one side is the resolutions for men, and on the other side is the resolution for women. Very interesting. Haven't read the sample book yet, but I LOVED the movie! 02/15/2012
