Awesome Value! The Scenera makes a wonderful choice for those on a budget, or as a travel/grandma car seat. It has an awesome 35lb Rear Facing weight limit, so that you can keep your little one safely rear facing as long as possible.The new girly cover is too cute, and it's easy to install. The biggest "quirk" about this seat, is that to install it in most cars in the Rear Facing position, you will usually need a chunk of pool noodle ($1) or a rolled towel to get a good recline for a small infant.It is a basic no frills seat, but my baby switched back and forth between this and a super cushy Britax without a single complaint.In my opinion the Scenera is a much better value then the 3-in-1 type seats, OR the Graco ComfortSport. They all offer extremely LOW top harness slots, meaning they are most often outgrown by height by age 2-3, long before it is safe to use a belt positioning booster! (4yrs and 40 is the minimum safety guideline for booster use)So save your money off those other over priced seats, and get a Scenera! 08/21/2007
Good for your Money This product works great for my daughter who was born at 9.6lbs and at her 1 month appt. was already 12.9lbs. I knew we would need a convertible seat instead of a infant car seat by age six months and this one is affordable and safe! 08/26/2007
Beautiful carseat! I've been pleased w/the cosco scenera carseat in daisy daze, as I expected I would. My insurance reimbursed me to replace 2 carseats because of a wreck I was in, so I technically could have any carseat out there, but I went w/this one (again). My 2.5 yr old son has been in this seat (in the blue pattern from Target) for a while now and loves it. My daughter was in a pink infant carrier during the wreck, so I had to trash those carseats. So, I got these. I got my son the black one and my daughter this one. It's beautiful! They both do fine in them. And, can't beat that WalMart price! Especially when using it forward facing, you can tether it in and it won't move an inch! Well worth the $$$ 10/20/2007
Scenera is a great budget seat The Cosco Scenera is a great SAFE budget seat. It allows for rear facing to 35lbs & since rear facing is so much safer & all kids should rear face as long as possible thats GREAT!Most kids can make it from newborn to age 3.5ish in this seat. How much more can you ask for that price!!!The top slots are a little short so it wont be the last forward facing harnessed seat for even my small/short kids. For the price I got a lot of great use. I'm saving up for a higher weight seat that can harness past 40lbs though!The seats are also fairly narrow so I can fit 3 across in the back of my 2 door car. All three had to be forward facing though.They are easy to use & get good installs in most cars. I have found rear facing needs a towel or a pool noodle though to get a good recline for my 18 month old.I LOVE my Sceneras. I own 3. 09/09/2007
