Fun durable chairs I've only had these chairs for roughly 1-2 weeks. I bought the red color - and I just love it - nice playful color.The seat back and seat bottom are a "plastic" material, but they seem like they would be durable to handle toddlers/pre-schoolers. I think they will be easy to clean as well. I like how you can fold them so you can put them away if you need to.We use these chairs on carpet, and my 2 year olds can easily pick them up themselves and relocate them...or even push them around (or under the table.)We've not tested out the "no pinching" feature - but will take its word for it.I have no problem recommending these chairs to friends who are looking for good, sturdy play chairs. I already have another table, but I would also be open to order the matching table knowing what the chairs are like.Give it a try, even if you order these online, surely you have a store near you where you can return them...but I doubt you will. I also thought this was a fair price for 4 chairs. 05/18/2010
Ecstatically Surprised I have a day care full of 1-4 year olds. I needed something sturdy and safe AND affordable. After looking everywhere else and finding nothing under $20 this was a SUPER find. As a realist I assumed that the chairs would be less than sturdy and would have to replaced quickly. I WAS WRONG! These chairs are VERY study. Hard plastic instead of vinyl covered foam as expected. Pinch free hinges strong frame. VERY VERY GOOD BUY!!!!! 03/30/2011
These chairs are non-metal, lightweight and easy for little hands to carry themselves. I don't worry about the kids pinching their fingers because the setup is pretty easy. 03/23/2011
great kids' chairs these chairs are perfect with the kids folding table (the one with telescoping legs). they're sturdy enough for my 50lb 5yo and safe for my 3yo. great buy, and the best part is that you can fold them up for storage. 05/25/2011
