Cosco- Belt-Positioning Booster Car Seat, Irondale 13 14
Good Seat / Good Price I purchased a Cosco booster for my son who is tall for his age, yet still requires a seat. It worked out well and I liked that it was a seat belt positioning. Many people don't understand the importance of a booster and making sure the belt hits the appropriate spot on the chest and neck area (don't get me started!). (If it's too close to the neck, it can cause laceration during an accident - think about it) Anyway, once the child doesn't need the belt positioned, the back can be removed. However, my son prefers that only the top portion removed because he likes the back support. He says it's comfortable and roomy. I'm now getting two more for my daughter who is now a "big girl". I would recommend this. 12/21/2011
Nice carseat for the price I bought this car seat for my 4 year old granddaughter. I really like it because it is easy to install, looks comfortable and has the head rest that holds her head in case she falls asleep. She likes the side cup holder for her drinks. Also, it will convert to a booster seat to use when she gets older. All in all, great car seat for the price! 01/06/2012
We absolutly LOVE this chair. My son is a tall almost 3 year old boy so in the regular carseat for kids his age, he was too tall and kicking everything, but we didnt want to give up the back support for him quite yet. This chair is perfect for what we need. Easy to put together, super easy to use and VERY easy to clean. This chair hooks into the regular seatbelt holster with the belt going accross his shoulder like mommy and daddy. Once the child is old enough, the back comes off and becomes just a plain old booster! Bonus so we dont have to buy yet another car seat! My son gets to be a "big boy" while we still have the piece of mind of the child's seat. WONDERFUL! 03/12/2012
Bought in a pinch as a spare b/c is rated "best bet" by IIHS and was available in store. Immediately ordered Harmony Dreamtime and returned this one. This seat is so flimsy feeling, the sides at the head do not keep little one's head from falling straight down when asleep, and virtually no padding. It is definitely worth $15 to upgrade to the Harmony also an IIHS "best bet" and much better quality. I would never feel comfortable traveling and using this seat. Our main seat is a Ricaro Sport and compared to it the Harmony is a distant second with the Cosco on another continent. 02/19/2012
