Saved my kids life A driver hit hy car this week and flipped my SUV. We landed on the roof of the vehicle, luckily we were all wearing our seat belts, my kids we both in this carseat and they were hanging upside down. Don't forget the main goal of a carseat, to protect your child in an accident. I, unfortunately, can vouch for this carseat in that respect. I replaced their car seats today with the same one that kept them safe. I figure if we can all walk away from our car rolling over, this car seat must be doing something right. Wonderful seat at a great price All 3 of my sons have used the Cosco Highback Booster seats. The value is uncomparable to any other. The seat is wide enough for my "big" boys and they seem to be comfy and happy in it. I would have liked to see a thicker padding for comfort, but this cover doesn't seem to bother them in the least. It's very easy to remove and wash, and then looks brand new again! I never had a problem with the straps being difficult to adjust or twist up, in fact they were MUCH better than the Graco seats I have tried. I also never had a problem with the cupholder "popping off" as some reviewers did. My boys love the feature of the cupholder. The seat itself is lightweight (yet very durable), much lighter than the 2 Britax seats we tried out and sit lower, however my kids could still enjoy seeing out the window. The Britax seats are awesome in almost everyway, except that their would bang on the roof when I would try ot lift them up and over into the seat b/c it sat so much higher (otherwise the Britax are the BEST). I find the value and the features of the Cosco seat to be great and I plan to buy another one for my youngest baby when the time comes for the upgrade from infant seat. 04/29/2008
Not for toddlers under 34' My daughter is 14 months and weighs 26 pounds. Based on the reviews and product description, I was excited to buy this carseat for my inlaws.However, I was disappointed when it arrived. It is for children 34-52 inches. I do not see this information in the official product description online.It looks like it would be a good carseat if you child meets the height requirements. 06/28/2009
I love it! I have two daughters, age one and two. When our first daughter grew out of her infant seat, we were looking for a seat that would grow with her so we wouldn't have to keep buying a new one every year or two. We loved this one so much that we bought the same seat for our younger daughter. They're inexpensive enough that we could afford to have two sets of seats so we don't have to move them back and forth between our cars. We got 4 seats for less than the price of some of the other seats on the market and we're thrilled with the quality. 07/06/2007
