Dishes The Corelle Buttercup design dishes are lovely and just what I wanted. Since I could only see the dishes on line I was a little nervous but they couldn't be nicer. The colors are bright and cheery,they are sturdy but light and the sizes are wonderful. The dinner plates are large and should fill even the largest eater,while the salad plates give you ample room. The bowls are a good size and you coffee drinkers should like the mug size. I have washed in the dishwasher and they withstand the heat well. I give them a thumbs up. 07/04/2009
Corelle Buttercup Dishes I liked the dishes very much, but very disappointed the cups were stoneware, not vitrelle. The site didn't state that the content of the cups were different than the dishes. 11/24/2009
Switching to Corelle - Kids are rough on dishes After many chips, cracks and breaks of our stoneware dishes we decided to switch to corelle. Overall these dishes are what we were looking for which is kid/teenager friendly. I have to agree with the other reviews that these do NOT look like the picture. They yellow is a pale yellow and the almost black is a light sage green color. That is my only complaint. I was hoping for the gold/black to give it a punch color. As I said, these dishes were not purchased to impress so they are working great for us. 06/28/2010
cheery dining These dishes are exactly what I've been looking for. They make a very cheery table setting and I love the square plates!! They are true Corelle and I think the mugs are cute. I would recommend this set to anyone that likes something updated and makes meal time fun. 06/03/2010
