Yes and I use them to light the deck path my husband built and they work great. Have been through 2 storms wind & rain and are fine.

If the cover stays on, yes. I've had some that got knocked over by the animals, and didn't see them. Some worked after a few days of rain after the inside was exposed, but some didn't. If you check them to make sure all covers are on before it rains, they should be fine. Mine lasted through FL, OK, and NC weather (some pretty severe storms and weather). Some are still going strong after years of use, but most are out. They may just need a battery. I never replaced the batteries on them. If you live in a really dusty/dirty area, remember to clean the solar panel top, so it can catch enough rays to light up.

We have had a set out in front yard for over two years without a problem, rain, sleet, snow once ( yeah snow in Houston ). We have even had the water sprinklers on hundreds of times to water the lawn, thus far no problem.

Towards the end of summer 2012 we purchased a second set, that is set up around the pool area, again, rain, sleet, snow, and an occasional splash of chlorinated water, again no issues.

We have a large Irish Setter that likes to dig stuff up, so far she has left the lights alone, we do not think they would survive a dunking in the pool. LOL

It's rated for 8 hours but I'd say that on fresh NiCd batteries as included, they will run about 6 hours. When it's time to replace the batteries, use some that are rated over 1000 mAH and you'll get much more run time.

Providing you set yours in the sun, they will be like mine and stay lit all night long

We just returned from a week of camping with our solar lights. We set them up outside of our tent around our fake grass. They worked great every night! Remember that you must twist the top off and turn them on. There is a little switch on the inside of the top. I think that other people did not know that since they do not come with instructions. I was thankful that I remembered reading the reviews and somebody had mentioned that:)

Very happy with this purchase. These light lit up the first time I set them out and they had not been exposed to the sun more than an hour before it went down and lit up my path very well. I have had them a few weeks now and they are brighter and last longer than any other solar lights I have tried, and I have tried a lot of them.

Much brighter than I though they would be for sola

I purchase these to place around my recently deceased fiance grave site. I was amazed by the price and a little skeptical about how they would function, but the have exceeded my expectations. They produce nice lighting and all of them have fully functioned since I have placed them. Now my honey is not in the dark.

They are nice looking and work just as promised. They have plastic stakes which break easily in hard ground, but in fairness all of the solar lights I have seen have that issue. They are not as bright as the ones I have in the front yard though which cost about the same amount. They are good for the price.

They give off a very low light. I've bought brighter ones from the dollar store. Also, one did go out after only a couple of weeks. After checking the battery and finding that was not the issue, I opened the housing and repaired the wiring. Being new, I should not have needed to do so.

I decided to buy my first set of Solar lights from Walmart usually get them elsewhere. So I decided to get this product for the price; however the solar light require batteries And don't get me wrong they come with them.  However at night the lights do not give hardly any lighting. Have had better. But they are ok I just for the pricing. So you get what you paid for.

Horrible...

Cordless Bright Solar Accent Lights were bought for my back yard where my bichon frise is always playing morning noon and night. bought 2 sets of eight and there were no directions in a plain brown box in plain plastic bags. used common sense and put them together and they have been standing in sunlight outside for five days - - - - - nothing put out at night.

the ones i received do not work

When I picked up the lights they were in a generic box. I installed them and one of the lights was broken and not working. It was even missing the on / off switch. I didn't expect to receive a returned & repacked item when making an online purchase. While in the store I saw that they had even better lights for less. I bought two sets. The online price was $21. for 8 lights. The better lights in the store were $14.96 for 8 lights. I wouldn't recommend buying online items.

8 Solar Lights Bought Online

I didn't realize these were so cheap. They are for my daughter's wedding in August. They are cheap plastic and the pieces fall apart easily. The light is dim. I won't order this again. Will definitely order metal instead of plastic.

Not worth the money

I had read the reviews prior to purchasing this product and thought that it would be a good deal, and functional.
Well only ONE of the lights worked. The batteries that came with them were dead. Ususaly there is a tiny piece of paper between the battery and the element so that it wont charge until you pull them out. Well there wasn't any and so I figured all the batterys ran down. I replace each one with new batteries and still ONLY one of them worked. I was very disappointed. I will return them to a local Wal Mart. I ended up going to Home Depo and spent a little more money, but the product is more attractive and they all work well.
I dont normaly write reviews, but this time I just had to share.
