This is a great product. success depends on the consistency of dough. It must be a real soft dough like and not flow like batter. it takes a few minutes to practice and make cookies like a pro.

COOKIE PRESS WORKS AS ADVERTISED. DO NOT BE DISCOURAGED BY FIRST COOKIE OUT OF PRESS, JUST SCRAPE OFF EXCESS COOKIE DOUGH AND YOUR COOKIES SHOULD BE PERFECT FROM THERE.
ONLY DISAPPOINTMENT WAS SMALL SIZE OF COOKIE. OTHER THEN THAT THE MACHINE IS EASY TO USE AND EASY TO CLEAN.

IT'S A KEEPER!!!

This is an excellent product.  However Walmart is showing both an outdated photo and outdated name for this product.  It's no longer called 'Cookie Pro Ultra II Cookie Press'.  Per numerous e-mails I exchanged with Wilton after I rec'd. this product in Nov. 2016, the product name has since been changed to 'Preferred Press Cookie Press.'  The identification number for both the old and new version is the same.  Although the cookie press itself is identical to the previously-named version, the Preferred Press Cookie Press box now contains 16 disks for making cookies, which the earlier version did not.  The appearance of the packaging is also completely different.

Awesome cookie press

The box says it's the "Pro Ultra Deluxe" It is a good product and the description and pictures on the box are not misleading. BUT if I designed a pro ultra deluxe, it would have a larger capacity and would be electric!
The little discs fall out when re-loading and you have to clean it all off to get them back into the groove. (So, load from the top!)
All in all, a good product and well worth the $20 price.

good, needs improvements though

My daughter loves to make cookies with me. With the cookie press we can now make a bigger diversity of cookies. It's easy to use, it makes perfect cookies.

Cookie making has gone to the next level

This cookie press would have earned a 5th star on the overall rating if the first disc I tried to insert had said 'this side up' instead of this side 'out'. Had to hand it over to my husband who found the correct way and now I will never get to use the cookie press. But I can tell that My helpmate is having lots of fun! He did let me make one cookie before he confiscated it and it is fun and easy.
