WAY too loud!! As far as drying hair, it's okay and for a space saver it's great, BUT this dryer is WAY WAY too loud. My ears are literally ringing when I get finished using it. I wish I had kept the box and receipt so I could return it! 08/05/2011
I bought this dryer less than a week ago to replace one that died, but I'm returning it tomorrow. It's way too loud, really just deafening. It's also very heavy. And the buttons are in very awkward places on the machine. The cord keeper is a nice feature as is the folding handle and it did do a good job drying my hair which is thin and fine. But the noise and the weight were too much for me. 07/14/2011

Took it back. I love Conair but this is a case of you get what you pay for. Too loud and high pitched and it didn't blow very hard. The switch was flimsy and the vent on the back didn't come off for easy cleaning so it took it back and got another Conair that I'm happy with. I don't think it would have lasted very long. 08/28/2010
