FABulous! This is just like the French rolls at Panera bread... you know, the yummy bread the sandwiches come on? The bread that is nice & crusty on the outside, with a very subtle hint of "sourdough" taste (not too much though, only a hint!) and so soft on the inside. Just DELICIOUS. Great for sandwiches, toast, with soups, you name it. The perfect everyday bread! 03/01/2011

My Daily Bread When I lived in Vermont, there was a baker there that made a loaf like this. He was German, and he baked in small batches. He came to market 2 times a week, and his bread was sold out within a half hour. Some folks would go early, and buy for others. He refused to make more.This bread is like that! It is a phenomonal world-class bread, simple, straightforward, crunchy, fantastic-can't-get-enough toast. My new "Daily Bread". I would recommend this loaf to anyone as to what a bread should seek to deliver. Only..... leave some for me, please.Thanks 01/08/2011
The loaf I bought smelled and tasted like old grease was used in it. Not a fresh bakery smell. Also, it was tough as shoe leather and made my jaw sore chewing it. 09/13/2011
