This is my second chair. (One of my backpacking sons made off with my first one). Been backpacking with me in Colorado, New Mexico, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Texas, Georgia and North Carolina. I've been hiking with a bunch of guys with thermarest type chairs folded up on the ground. When I'm not around, I notice they use my chair. It's great for geezers like me who don't like getting up and down off the ground all the time. Lightweight. Durable enough. It does lean slightly too much back, so I'll often just slide a stick across between the backrest brace and the chair brace and problem solved. Great chair. Would recommend to anyone. Except maybe 300 pound guys. I weigh 180.

Great for backpacking

We now have five of these....one for the whole family....for our camping needs. We do everything from car camping to trail backpacking....so having s light sturdy chair is very important. When close to the car it sure is easy to pack those big folding chairs....unless you're packing five people for the weekend and then space becomes important. These chairs fold flat and pack light enough to carry on a backpack. Yet they're also sturdy enough and comfortable enough for car camping as well. They also work great for all our age groups as well as our weights.

My wife and I bought these chairs to carry on long walks to out favorite fishing spots. They were very easy to carry and were a joy to have with us. At the end of our day we were not as tired as before by having a chair that sits at the right height and a back to lean against. They are now a part of our fishing equipment. We are 100% satisified.

This chair was just as we expected it would be from the picture and description. Took it along to a festival with lots of walking and nowhere much to sit and it was easy to carry and quick to set up and fold back up. Not somewhere you'll want to sit for hours, but nice for a little while. Plus we ordered it on Friday and received it at our door the following Tuesday so very fast shipping.

Lightweight, easy to carry and set up

My husband has back problems and needs to sit frequently when we are out and about, so I have been looking for a light weight, sturdy chair.  This fit the bill perfectly.  I am able to fit the folded chair into a handled bag and carry it comfortably over my shoulder.   I would recommend this product.

Woodsman is light weight and sturdy

I bought one of these chairs while I was in the military, and used it when we went to the field. I used this chair for 11 years in the military, and have had it for another 10 years since. I purchased 2 more for my family. They are just good, durable, reliable, easily packed and transported chairs. I love them!

Dependable!!!

Hello, I bought 1 of these chairs for my wife, We Smoke, My wife never gets to sit down at work but she gets smoke breaks. So I got this LIGHT WEIGHT, STURDY, INEXPENSIVE chair so she can sit down for a smoke break (outside) then folds it up in a snap and carries it back into the building. Worked so good I went back and got a 2nd one. Very good camping and prepping chair with a back on the chair that gives good support. It's Coleman so it's fairly rugged but very light weight, maybe 2 pounds at most. Tri-Folds for COMPACT, FLAT, Storage. A+ item. Also folds down into a stool.

Great Smoking Chair

A good chair, light and comfortable, with one exception. The back leans too far back to provide back support. I had to wrap pipe insulation tubes around the leg tubes to correct it.

Good chair with one serious flaw

The chair is lightweight. It is sturdy. BUT the rear metal support hits my tailbone and I cannot sit all the way to the back. The back support (for me) has too much of an angle, I think it should be more upright. I will be modifying the angle of the backrest with a few turns of duct tape on each side. I will be cautious about hitting my tailbone; it is possible that when I adjust back support that problem will be aleviated. MAYBE IF I WAS 25 YEARS OLD THE CHAIR WOULD BE OK AS IS.
I can make it work for me, but if I had tried it before buying I would have looked further.

It is lightweight

I purchased it because it looked like it would serve the purpose I was looking for. A lightweight seat that would provide good support.

I found that the back was not angled right for me (I need it to be more upright) and I had trouble getting up from the seated position. 

In fairness, it could be just right for someone else, but I'm in my mid-sixties and am not a spring chicken any more.
